We’re Nacho Church if you’re:

1. Looking for the perfect pastor

• Letter of the Law vs. Spirit of the Law

Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. 1 Timothy 3:1-4

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28

2. If you have super high expectations

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24

3. If you want the staff to do everything

• One of the primary causes of anxiety is people trying to be who others expect them to be and do everything others expect them to do
• A church is not effective when the staff ministers to the people. But rather when the body ministers to the body.

4. If you hate a certain group of people

• We are for people meeting Jesus and taking their next step as He leads them to take their next step

5. if you don’t love people who are far from God

But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled. Luke 19:7

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke 19:10

We are your church if you:

1. Want to come as you are

2. Want to be who you are

• Everybody is welcome. Nobody is perfect. Anything is possible.

3. Want to understand confession does not lead to exclusion

• Central Church is a church for misfits, failures and outcasts, led by misfits, failures and outcasts
