Matthew 24:3-12
Seven Signs Jesus gives in Matthew 24:
1. Religious Tolerance
Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5
- A survey showed that 57% of Christians believe all religions teach the same thing
- 38% of Christians believe that you don’t have to believe in Jesus to get to heaven
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6
2. Wars and threats of wars
And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Matthew 24:6
3. Ethnic unrest
Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. Matthew 24:7-8

6. Persecution
Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Matthew 24:9-11
- There is a difference between hate speech and speech that you hate
7. A love growing cold
Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. Matthew 24:12
