Position Yourself
John 4:46-54; John 5:5-9; John 9:6-7
Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and spread the mud over the blind man’s eyes. 7 He told him, “Go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam” (Siloam means “sent”). So the man went and washed and came back seeing! John 9:6-7
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
- Listen to Jesus and do what He says
- In order to listen to Jesus, we have to put ourselves in a position where we can hear his voice on a consistent basis
- If we want to follow Jesus, we have to, on a consistent basis, position ourselves to where we can hear His voice
- A lot of the times we miss Jesus’ working because we're not willing to walk in the direction he told us to walk
- The enemy always tries to get us to stop walking by throwing discouragement our way
- On the other side of obedience are opportunities for miracles that would blow our minds.
