Philippians 3:8-9
Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ, and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. Phil. 3:8-9
I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. Phil. 3:12
Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadow boxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

- The life of faith is more about embracing a journey than it is about arriving at a destination.
- It's impossible to press on or chase after Jesus with everything that we have if we're living in the past.
- The enemy's plan is that it would define you God’s plan for your past is that it would refine you.

- Don’t be complacent in how you train for spiritual growth.
- Jesus isn't the means to an end Jesus is the end.
- Don't give up! Keep chasing after the one who says I hold you at every turn.
- You have a choice who you keep in your view.
