On the other side of Endurance

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

~Hebrews 12:1-3

The Purpose of Endurance is to be Empowered on the other side.

As Christians We Are Always On Display.

Don’t allow distractions to steal our time and our heart away from Jesus.

We must run the race with our head up and our eyes fixed on Jesus.

I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Philippians 3:14

God never promised a safe journey, He only promised a safe arrival.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ~2 Timothy 4:7

Training is never comfortable and isn’t always enjoyable, but it is necessary to be ready.

God didn’t put us in the race just to start it. He put us there to finish.

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. ~Matthew 7:13-14

Don’t let your position determine your faith,  let your faith determine our position.
